Osteria Tarantino
Tutto finisce a tarallucci e vine …it all ends with biscuits and wine
Down a quaint cobbled street, or up a steep stone staircase, you’ll find the most delightful osteria by owner and chef Enrico Tarantino - rustic by day and charming by night.
The menu is small and simple, unpretentious and utterly delicious. Mains are all about the signature pasta, the 4 Ps - pappardelle, parmesan, porcini and pancetta, served up in a tiny pan. To start, the antipasti are equally as divine – think creamy burrata, Parma ham, olive oil, ripe vine tomatoes – sublime and perfect for sharing. I didn’t enjoy the wine list too much, so suggest taking your own for a small corkage fee, however the Prosecco makes for a good overture. And for the finale it all ends with biscuits and wine - or in this case cannoli’s and wine. A truly “delizioso” esperienze - tutto bene!
Encore.
