Café du Cap
A room fit for Heminway

If you are anything like me you dream of lavender fields and Provence, glasses of rosé and shopping in little villages for age-old brocante finds, living your best regional life.
A little piece of this heaven exists on Loop Street, nestled in the Ideas Cartel headquarters. This quaint French-inspired café serves up the most delicious homemade favourites and is renowned for their lunch harvest table. It also boasts the best croque monsieur in town, but the real secret are the homemade crunchies (wink wink).
The brocante shop sells exquisite kaftans and linens, alongside rare copper pots and vintage French homeware. They are also home to Malawi Cane and Mellvill & Moon in case you were planning a safari anytime soon. It's about as close to Ralph Lauren in the bush as one might get in Africa.
Savour, as the sounds of Edith Piaf waft in the background, dreaming of lavender fields and the French-life, cappuccino in hand. You're a world away.
