The Melting Pot

Doubtlessly Cool

Street-food | $

Chef duo John and Sage have opened a restaurant and cafeteria on Wale street above The Gin Bar and behind Honest Chocolate Café.

The space is minimilast and trendy and where the worlds street foods meet, inspired by the couples travels around the globe. John is ex Chefs Warehouse and Thali so it is no wonder the plates are exciting and have an Asian influence. Dishes change often and although modest, are refined and flavourful and will leave you wanting more.

There are about 8 dishes on the menu and I would suggest sampling all of them. The tuna was a stand-out, a mediterranean style salad with yoghurt dressing as well as the taco of pulled pork shoulder with green salsa. The crack chicken, a favourite from their pop-up, with kimchi emulsion was also mouth-watering. In fact all the dishes are delectable and why you need to order all of them.

By the glass or bottle, the wine list has been curated by Publik and is cracking. Cleverly paired to complement their menu.

It's a melting pot of flavours and one culinary experience you don’t want to miss.

No reservations, so get there early.
